To provide nearly limitless flexibility, the 296-seat theatre, with balcony, combines a retractable seating system with rows of portable seating and an adjustable platform system. Room configurations include traditional tiered seating to a proscenium stage, flat floor with or without seating, mosh pit/audience dance area, and a ​“disappearing proscenium.”

Inspired by mountain ski town fashion, the custom Venetian stage curtain is designed to evoke the appearance of a ​“puffy” ski jacket.

Working in collaboration with Steinberg Hart and local lighting designer Eric Naughton, who provided input into decorative fixture selection, Schuler Shook developed the lighting schemes for the entire project. Included in the design were the main lobby, a gallery space for local artists, two rehearsal rooms, art classrooms, restrooms, the theatre house, and minimal exterior lighting conforming to the City’s strict Dark Sky Ordinance. The lighting for the theatre house is as flexible as the theatre, providing lighting for the many different configurations of the room. Dimmable LED sources are utilized throughout the building.
