Coppell Arts Center
Coppell, TX
In the heart of Coppell’s historic district, the Coppell Arts Center has quickly become a beloved hub for the community, anchoring the Old Town Pavilion Park with its vibrant presence. More than just an entertainment venue, the center stands as a celebration of local artists and serves as a vital educational resource for all ages.
Opening just one month into the COVID-19 lockdown, the Coppell Arts Center adapted rapidly, engaging the community with drive-in movies, serving as a voting station, and providing a much-needed gathering space. Today, the center continues to enrich the Coppell and North Texas community, presenting a wide range of cultural programs, from theatre and live music to art exhibitions.
Collaborating with Corgan, Schuler Shook helped shape the vision of the center’s performance spaces. Our theatre design services supported the center’s dynamic programming by creating versatile, well-equipped environments for each venue. The architectural lighting design for the Main Hall showcases our integration of house lighting within acoustic reflectors and wood sidewall illumination. Additionally, the color-changing lighting in the hallways enhances the center’s artistic ambiance.
We’re proud to have played a role in bringing this vibrant cultural destination to life.
