Jim is Schuler Shook’s Partner in the Melbourne office. He brings 22 years of theatre planning experience to the practice. Since his first Melbourne theatre project with Schuler Shook in 2009, Jim has completed nearly 100 projects, including new theatres, renovations, studies, and master plans.
He is passionate about all areas of theatre planning and especially enjoys designing stage layouts and auditorium seating and sightlines. He believes in careful collaboration and seeks the appropriate solution for each design need. His background in theatre and architectural lighting affords him a strong position from which to coordinate Schuler Shook’s theatre planning and specialist lighting design services.
