The developer of the prestigious Palmolive Building in Chicago desired a new exterior lighting scheme for the famous facade, as well as the return of the landmark navigational beacon atop the building. Schuler Shook’s designers were invited both to create the new exterior lighting and to replicate the Lindburg Beacon that had been operational from 1930-1981.

The renewed facade and beacon mast are now a stately addition to the “top” of the Magnificent Mile, and the beacon itself is once again operational.
