InnerSelf provides intimate apparel for women. The lighting design is warm and inviting, giving the shopper a secure feeling. Accents throughout the store attract the customer’s eye, making it both appealing to shop and accentuating the architecture.

Schuler Shook provided the interior and exterior lighting design and custom lighting fixtures for this retail shopping center and plaza. The lighting design was carefully crafted with the development of the retail center to create a warm and inviting quality that responds to the architecture. The lighting fixtures took their cue from the Prairie style architectural vernacular.

This Target store location competes with other mall tenants, with a lower level entry from a busy mall atrium, and needed a unique identity to stand out from the crowd and draw shoppers in. Schuler Shook helped Target create an energetic lighting design to do just that. Bright, backlit side walls and graphic panels, combined with random parallel light slots on the entry ceiling, guide shoppers down escalators from the mall atrium above. The entrance is immersed with color, energy and a bit of excitement.
