Alex’s promotion to full member status is further confirmation of the dedication and professionalism he expresses to his colleagues, coworkers, and clients. His twelve years at Schuler Shook has proven his ability to be a generalist in all areas of theater planning. Alex is a graduate of Texas Christian University (Go Frogs!) where he studied all aspects of theatre production. He spent many years understanding how different types of theatres operate as a lighting designer, technical director, operations manager, drafting specialists, and corporate event organizer.
Alex is based in the Dallas office of Schuler Shook where his current theatre consulting work includes Coppell Arts Center, Coppell, TX; Diamond Head Theatre, Honolulu, HI; KLRU Studios, Austin, TX; Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center, Oklahoma, OK; Little Rock Southwest Magnet High School, Little Rock, AR; Lake Belton High School, Temple, TX.
The ASTC is chartered to improve the programming, planning and construction of performance venues, to further the interests of owners, users and audiences of theatre, and to promote high standards of practice among its members.
