Schuler Shook congratulates Partner Paul Whitaker and Theatre Consultant Keith Friedlander on their induction into the American Society of Theatre Consultants (ASTC). Paul and Keith’s membership in the organization further affirms their professionalism and commitment to the profession of theatre consulting, their colleagues, and their clients.
Paul Whitaker has been with Schuler Shook since 1997 and was recently named a Partner of the firm. He is known for his collaborative nature and ability to successfully handle all aspects of projects from concept to completion. In addition to his work as a Theatre Consultant, Paul is a professional Lighting Designer, designing for Schuler Shook as well as theatrical productions around the United States. Paul has worked on many projects, including Luminary Arts Center, The Palace Theatre, and the Harry S. Truman Museum and Library.
Keith Friedlander joined Schuler Shook in 2015 after spending 15 years as a master electrician and lighting/video supervisor for major regional theatres. He has worked on a wide range of venue types, from significant performing arts centers to a variety of university and high school theatres. Keith is known for his approachability as well as his skills in the development of theatrical systems and rigging and lighting systems renovations. Significant projects include Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences, Seattle Opera at the Center, and Amazon Rufus Meeting Center.
