Pablo Center at the Confluence includes a 1,200-seat proscenium theatre and a flexible 400-seat venue, as well as spaces for rehearsal, dance, and community gatherings. It also provides art galleries, labs for sound, lighting, set, and exhibit design, recording arts, and multimedia production. The 130,000 square foot facility is designed for use by the community, the University of Wisconsin, and the Eau Claire Regional Theatre in addition to many other organizations and interests.
Schuler Shook provided theatre consulting and architectural lighting design for this new venue, including stage rigging, stage lighting, pit lift design, seating and sightlines, and architectural lighting in collaboration with the design team, user representatives, developers and the contractors.
