Schuler Shook consulted on the design and installation of LED lighting systems in the renovated gallery. As a part of the university’s campus-wide effort to promote sustainability and reduce energy usage, Schuler Shook worked closely with the university’s Student Sustainability Committee to ensure that the new systems are sustainable as well as effective at showcasing the gallery’s various works of art.
Krannert Art Museum - East Gallery
Champaign, IL
Operating at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the Krannert Art Museum is the second largest fine art museum in the state of Illinois.
The East Gallery, the museum’s home for travelling and temporary exhibits, was renovated with a design that matches the adjacent galleries in order to provide a more cohesive experience for museum attendees.
