Building façade lighting for the stone walls and the metal panel clad tower illuminates the church at night. Landscape lighting highlights both the architecture and the park like setting.
Westminster Presbyterian Church
Minneapolis, MN
A 55,000 square foot addition to the existing 1895 sanctuary provides additional pre-function space, a new library, meeting spaces, classrooms, a large multi-purpose room, and underground parking.
Inside, a beautiful 4‑story stairway is illuminated with a large custom chandelier.
The architectural lighting in the multi-purpose space includes suspended glass pendants, accents to the skylight for night time use, and color changing accents concealed behind wooden panels. The room easily transforms from a large meeting room into an intimate banquet or performance space. Theatrical systems include pipes and infrastructure for accent fixtures, allowing for musical concerts, speakers, and holiday pageants with enhanced technical flexibility. A state-of-the-art control system allows flexible control for both the multi-purpose room and all the pre-function spaces.
