Are you creative, detailed, and passionate about lighting design? Do you have a strong client management skill set? Then we are looking for you! Our Dallas team is seeking a Project Lighting Designer with great people skills who knows how to manage projects well.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will work with our collaborative team of architectural lighting designers as a designer and a team manager. You will manage small and medium projects of many different types for a variety of clients.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
You must have excellent client care skills, work effectively as a team member, and be able to manage your time and project deadlines well. Your skills and abilities are more important to us than a precise number of years worked, but you will need about 5 years of prior experience as a lighting designer or in a similar position. You must have previous client engagement experience. You must be able to communicate design ideas visually and verbally, and should be a skilled user of Photoshop, AGI32, Revit, and Bluebeam. Experience in InDesign, LightStanza, ElumTools, Enscape, or 3ds Max is a plus. You must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook and be able to meet client deadlines. Strong communication and organizational skills, personal initiative, and an understanding of architectural lighting design are required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Architectural Engineering, a related field, or equivalent professional experience is required.

Salary will be commensurate with your ability and experience, starting at $70,000/year.
